why do tears still torment me
when your voice evades my memory
why do i still feel so deep
when you never even loved me
what part of me still
holds on to you with will
why does my heart still ache
when i cant remember your face.
Be it near or
be it very far
my heart will long for you
wherever you are
One day i know
you will indeed return
my heart will once again
beat in tune with yours
you will take me by the hand
and heal my darkened soul.
You will take away my pain
and put an end to my heartache.
