Evolve

Started off as friends,
Never thought you'd be more,
Now this feeling is like,
Nothing I've felt before.

How did we go from friends,
And evolve into something more,
It's because you were my strength,
When I was broken and sore.

I never thought I'd look at you,
The way I do right now,
It fills me with such joy,
Leaves me saying wow.

I don't know why it changed,
I'm just glad that it did,
Because with you in my life,
I'm remembering how to live.
