Giving someone time alone,

Giving someone space,

Is very hard for me to do,

But I'm doing it anyway.

If only to prove to you,

How much you mean to me,

And that for you,

I'd do pretty much anything.

I've never had to do this before,

It's all so foreign to me,

But I have to persevere,

If I want you returning.

I want you to clear your head,

I want you to be ok,

But not knowing how long I gotta wait,

Is driving me insane.

We talked every single day,

It's a hard habit to break,

But I have to not talk to you,

If I'm to give you some space.

It's only been one day,

And I'm already falling,

I just want to talk to you,

And you don't know how badly.

But I promised that I'd do it,

So now I know I have to,

Because I don't break promises,

Especially not to you.

So I will give you the space you need,

Give you time to clear your head,

Then I can finally have you back,

And keep you till time ends.
