I need to let go,

Need to let the memories fade,

I cant just keep holding onto,

Someone who has left.

I know i have to let you go,

But i really wish you'd stay,

Without your smile, to brighten my life,

It's just not the same.

You gave me something,

I never knew i was missing,

You gave me a hope and a love,

I could've kept it if i'd listened.

I betrayed your faith,

I made your love for me fade,

But you have no idea what i'm feeling for you,

I can explain it if you stay.
