Connection

I don't know what it is,

That causes this connection,

I don't know how it happened but,

I know that it's there.

I tell myself it's in my head,

That you don't actually care,

But it's obvious to everyone, even me,

That there's a connection there.

I'm not ready to act on it,

And I know, neither are you,

But who knows, in the future maybe,

We'll have something that's true.

If this connection continues to grow,

I know it would be amazing,

For now we just play it day by day,

We just have to wait and see.
